My name is Brenna and I am 21 years old. I'm going to university this fall, currently on summer break. I live at home with my 7 other family members. Mom, Orland (step-dad), 4 sisters, and my one brother. Let's dive in!
I started riding horses when I was really young. I grew up in the mountains of Colorado and did ranch things with my father and grandpa. When I was 10, we moved to Arkansas. We lived in the country. But the opportunity to ride here was slim unless you knew people around you well. In 2007, following my parents divorce, my mom, sisters, and me moved to the nearby town. I very rarely had the chance to ride so let's just say I didn't ride at all. That brings us to last year. Last August, my mom found a stable nearby that teaches English riding. I went for it and have been happily riding there every since.
Unfortunately, my back got really messed up in April so I haven't ridden for 2 months. I've still been helping my trainer and watching lessons but not riding. I feel like I'm going stir crazy waiting for my back to heal and the chiropractor to clear me to ride.
